We are proud to host the Inaugural OVM’s Legum Legacy Golf Tournament in the fall of 2021! This tournament serves as part of the annual fundraising efforts for OVM’s Legum Legacy, a charitable organization created to offer a helping hand to our community by empowering local charities to continue their good work. OVM’s Legum Legacy was formed to honor Aaron Legum and his ideals about compassion, generosity, and enthusiasm for life.
WHEN: Monday November 1st, 2021 with registration starting at 10 AM
WHERE: Princess Anne Country Club
HOW: All players and sponsors who registered for our 2020 Golf Tournament will be automatically registered for the 2021 tournament. We will issue refunds for anyone who registered last year but can’t make it this year, and those spots will be open for new people to register as they come available.

Inaugural Golf Tournament Beneficiary: CHKD
It seemed fitting that the inaugural OVM’s Legum Legacy Golf Tournament should support Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters, a charity that had such a positive and personal impact on the Legum family. Ashton, Aaron’s son, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2004. With the dedicated care of the fantastic doctors, nurses, and staff at CHKD, Ashton was able to make a full recovery.
Assisted by donors like you, CHKD is able to help care for our region’s most vulnerable children, offer crucial services available nowhere else in the area, advance knowledge of children’s health, and build a safer, healthier community for all of our children. In the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2018, CHKD’s total community benefit expenses, minus offsetting revenue, topped $104 million.
Giving back is deeply ingrained in OVM’s company culture. Each year we strive to support charities in our community that are making a difference, and 2019’s Charity Bash, presented by OVM’s Legum Legacy, was able to raise $36,190 to donate. This year, we are stepping it up by adding OVM’s Legum Legacy Golf Tournament as part of our annual fundraising efforts. We are honored to be able to continue Aaron’s legacy by contributing to a charity as worthly as CHKD.
